The panel—moderated by Keith Gerson, CFE President of Franchise Operations and Chief Marketing Officer at FranConnect—addresses the top 10 strategies for franchise growth. With 19+ years of working with franchises to providing strategic marketing solutions and generate quality leads, Jen was happy to add her expertise and unique point of view to this distinguished panel.

The panel was followed by a quick Q & A, where more specific concerns were addressed. There was a lot of conversation centered around marketing, and Jen had many insights to share. In terms of unearthing quality leads, Jen pointed out that brands need to look beyond financial requirements. “A lot of brands tend to just speak to the financial requirements and simply just look at that instead of the psychographics and motivations alignment,” Jen said. Jen also shared her perspective on digital and the importance of other types of media. “The idea is you want people to see you all over, wherever they are spending time in their day. It is usually a cumulative effect that generates the idea that it is actually time to consider the brand and reach out to you. So, make sure you don’t put all of your eggs in one basket,” Jen said. All the panelists agreed that a layered approach to marketing and campaign testing is a major contributor to success. “If you want dollars, you need data,” added Charles Watson.
